
Ingredients
- 1 slice of bread (use gluten-free if needed)
- 1 cup plant milk (I use soya)
- 1tsp maple syrup
- 1tsp vanilla essence
- Oil (for cooking)
- Fresh fruit of your choice
- 1tbsp agave nectar
Method
- Mix the milk, vanilla essence and maple syrup together in a bowl.
- Soak your bread in the mixture for 15 seconds on each side.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the bread for approx 3 minutes on each side. It should go a golden, toast-like colour.
- Place the toast on your plate, topping it with fresh fruit and the agave nectar.
- Enjoy!
