French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread (use gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 cup plant milk (I use soya)
  • 1tsp maple syrup
  • 1tsp vanilla essence
  • Oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh fruit of your choice
  • 1tbsp agave nectar

Method

  1. Mix the milk, vanilla essence and maple syrup together in a bowl.
  2. Soak your bread in the mixture for 15 seconds on each side.
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the bread for approx 3 minutes on each side. It should go a golden, toast-like colour.
  4. Place the toast on your plate, topping it with fresh fruit and the agave nectar.
  5. Enjoy!
