
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 200g self-raising flour
- 5tbsp vegetable oil
- 180g caster sugar
- 1tsp vanilla essence
- 230ml plant milk (I use soya)
- Pecan nuts
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 c.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water.
- Sift the flour into a large bowl.
- Add all of the ingredients to the bowl (except the pecan nuts).
- Mix until it forms a smooth mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased tin and spread evenly with the back of your spoon.
- Use the pecan nuts to mark each brownie (see below). You can also use raspberries to do this.
- Cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Once removed from the oven, allow to cool and then cut to size using a knife.
- Enjoy!
