Avocado and Mushroom Pitta

This super simple breakfast is a great way to fuel your day.

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100g mushrooms
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 pitta
  • Oil

Method

  1. Place the pitta in the oven (200 degrees fan) for ten minutes, until it is warm and starting to crisp.
  2. Mash the avocado in a bowl and set to one side.
  3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and add your mushrooms. Cook until they start to brown.
  4. Add in the garlic for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Take the pitta out of the oven, place it on a plate and top with the other cooked ingredients.
